Manali is a favourite destination in Himachal Pradesh  for all age groups of people. It is situated in the northern end of Kullu Valley. This town is blesses with nature, surrounded by rives and snow clad mountains. Manali is surrounded with some of the Himalayan Peaks and they are Hanuman Tibba, 7 Sisters Peak, Friendship Peak, Patalsu Peak, Ladhak Peak and Manali Peak.  The hill station attracts people with its many adventurous sports like Water rafting, skiing, trekking , para gliding and horse riding and other activities too.

Rohtang Pass (Snow Point)

This is the most attractive destination as this the snow point in Manali, as anyone can enjoy snow almost throughout the year. Tourists can enjoy the adventurous sports like paragliding, skiing  and snow biking. This is 51 km from Manali town and tourists are taken by taxis till the snow points.

Solang Valley

This valley is 12 km from the town. This valley is famous for paragliding, skiing, snow biking, Bungee jump, zorbing, horse riding and trekking. Tourists can also enjoy rope ride in the valley to the peak. This valley is famous for its National Winter skiing championship competition.

Hadimba Devi Temple

Hadimba, wife of Bhim,the strongest of Pandavas is worshipped as Kali. Maharaja Bahudar Singh in 1553 built this temple in the shrine of Hidamba Devi.  The temple is in wooden and in Pagoda style. Tourists can enjoy wearing traditional himachal dresses to take pictures.

Tibetian Monastery

The Monastery is located very near to The Mall, Manali.

Vashist Temple

This temple is located 3kms from Manali. A pair of temples opposite to each other is located here, one devoted to Lord Ram and another to  Sage Vashisht. This temple is famous for hot water spring.

Club House

This club house is an attraction because of its location, near the river side. It is managed by Himachal Tourism and 1.5 km from Manali town. There’s a shopping complex also, good for woolen garments.

Kullu valley in Himachal Pradesh is gifted with marvelous scenic beauty, with charming glades and rivers through the rocks. This valley is also known as Valley of Gods. The River Beas flow in this valley. The Kullu Dussehra Fair is very famous in Kullu. You can also buy some woolen stuff at kullu market.

Bijli Mahadev Temple

This is a very famous temple in Kullu, with 20 meter tall image attracting special blessings from the skies. The view of Kullu and Parvati valleys is very charming from the temple. The staff of the Mahadev Temple which is 60 feet high, shines like silver needle in the sun and it is believed that the temple receives blessing through the lightning from the staff. This temple is 11 km from Kullu.

Bajeshwar Mahadev Temple

This temple is 15 km from the Kullu town. It is famous for its stone carvings and sculpturing in Shikhara style.

Jagannath temple

This temple is 3 km from the town and tourists enjoy the panoramic view of Kullu town from this place.

Manikaran

This place is 45 km from Kullu town. This place is associated with Lord Shiva and is believed that Parvati lost and got back her ear rings at this place. This place is famous for its hot springs. There is a Gurudwara here and the dal, rice and vegetables served in the Gurudwara are cooked in the main spring water which is very hot. Tourists also take a dip in this holy water.

Pulga and Kheerganga

Pulga 16 km from Kullu and is a very beautiful place for nature lovers. 10 km from there is Kheerganga is known for hot springs.

 Katrain

This place is on the way to Manali and is famous for its Apple orchids. This place also has fruit research centre and trout hatchery. This place is also famous for bee keeping. Tourist accomdation is also available by HPTDC Hotels.

Vaishno Devi Temple

This beautiful temple is on the way to Manali, the temple is famous for its wooden architecture inside the temple and it faces the Beas  river. Accommodation is also available in the temple premises.

Raghunathji Temple

This temple situated just 1 km from the town and is the temple of Kullu valley’s principle diety Raghunathji.
