Jallianwala Bagh is a public park located near the famous Golden Temple of Amritsar which houses a memorial commemorating the massacre by the British. This tragic incident left a very bad impact on the country and after this, a memorial was built after independence commemorating innocent people who lost their lives in this incident. The genocide memorial established by the Government of India in 1951 at Jallianwala Bagh was inaugurated on 13 April 1961 by Dr. Rajendra Prasad. The place where the murder incident took place by the British has now been converted into a beautiful park.

Then when General Dyer’s orders were fired in the crowd in which many innocent people were killed. If you come to visit Amritsar, then definitely go once to see the Jallianwala Bagh here.

The wounds inflicted by the British at Jallianwala Bagh still appear in this park. Let us tell you that there is a wall at the end of this park, which still has 36 bullet marks. A well is located near the entrance of the park in which many people jumped out of fear as soon as they heard the sound of gunfire.
